August 8-10th is sure coming up fast! The kid’s Fun Day is just around the corner and the kids are counting down the days. What kind of pods and activities are there going to be? Is there going to be any famous celebrities there?
Each year we endeavor to bring new twists to the Fort Peck Reservation. One year it was bocce ball, another year it was Aikido demonstrations, and this year how about a bounce house, a mechanical bull, three wheeled bicycles, and lots of other great attractions?
Whiffle ball in 102 degree heat? The kids didn’t mind at all. Temperatures only in the 80’s didn’t keep the kids out of the dunk tank.
The juggling balls were a hit a few years back.
One year we even had a parade with horses, antique cars, and floats.
The rock climbing wall was a hit one year! Arts and crafts and face painting is a staple of our Fun Day/Boot Camps.
There will be live music in the streets with LHNC’s house band Don’t Quit Your Day Job.
Yes, there will be sand art. This is one of our most popular pods.
Will there be a princess pageant this year? What kind of fitness initiatives will there be this year?
