For the last 6 weeks a group of Chiropractors, Naturopaths, patients, families, friends, businesses, churches, and other organizations have been collecting funds for the upcoming Fun Days on August 8 (Wolf Point) and August 9 (Poplar). These funds are the ‘lifeblood’ of all of LHNC efforts. It’s all about restoring the hope, health, and dignity back to kids on the Fort Peck Reservation and beyond.
The effect of all these efforts is to build another solar-powered, geodesic greenhouse in Frazer, put on two carnivals, care for and assist juvenile and adult inmates as well as providing groceries and household products for 300 plus families, plus over 800 back packs for the kids!
It’s always difficult to determine who has more fun, the kids or the adults?
At the two Fun Days, the kids and adults will be treated to all you can eat lunches.
You will also hear the critically acclaimed house band, Don’t Quit Your Day Job, at both the carnivals! They are also putting on a jail concert and the public is invited to bring your lawn chairs and cold drinks and enjoy.
The LHNC participants love to hear stories of how LHNC has helped their family members.
For 15 years now, LHNC has been helping the kids to brighter futures.
